IDS12 favourites of mine

While it’s hard to have favourites at the Interior Design Show, I chose to highlight the booths that inspired me. The designs that made me come home to my own space and start thinking design ideas.

Tangerine orange paired with soft greys. This colour scheme had everyone talking at the Interior Design Show. Hats off to Dee Dee Taylor Eustace who was right on par when designing this stunning booth! It featured a built-in mini fridge, striking bed with linens from Hastens and accent clothing from Joe Fresh. A big soaker tub was the presence of the room with built-in storage flanking the sides of the tub. I love the set up of this bedroom, it’s perfect for two!

Smokey greys and retro accents. I loved Elte’s booth with dark grey walls and vintage furniture with very retro pieces. I loved the plates on the wall, and the fun paper weights!

How cool is this coat rack? Amazing work of art by upcoming artist called NU(IS)ANCES. Congratulations on the Design Lines’ Love Tag!

  1. Hi Josie! My name’s Andrew Metrick and I’m from Elte. We may have met at IDS but I can’t be sure. I was working the booth and it was a pretty busy weekend. Anyway, Elte was actually founded by great grandfather so when I see a compliment about our booth, I can’t help but feel proud. So thank you very much for featuring us on your blog and for stopping by our booth. it means a lot. We uploaded photos of our booth on Facebook so be sure to have a look (www.facebook.com/elte). That’s about it. Keep up the great blog and I hope to see you at Elte sometime soon. All the best!

    • Hi Andrew, I am so honored and thrilled that you took your time to read my blog post. I was very impressed with the booth display and I am always sourcing furniture to clients from Elte. I am even saving my pennies to purchase the Eames lounge chair… it’s on my wish list! We haven’t officially met but next time I am in the showroom I will be sure to introduce myself. Thank you again for your comment, it is appreciated. Cheers,
      Josie
